The water erosion on the big canal in the city was causing problems. We see it all the time in this area: Heavy rainfall and fluctuation of the waterlevels always causes soil erosion sooner or later.

Good thing they called us! Our system – a 3 container Geo Textile installation – resolved and restored these areas to proper slopes and will prevent further water and soil erosion.

We performed some much needed maintenance work on the irrigation intake. First the screen had to be removed underwater on the 24” culvert to clean the irrigation intake. To ensure the proper cleaning of sand and sediment build-up inside the structure we performed penetration diving. Then the screen was replaced with new nuts and bolts. To eliminate future sand build-up we performed dredging around the intake area.
